This notice describes how the personal data of users who visit the darcadia.it website and use the services available on it is processed, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the "GDPR") and applicable Italian data-protection law.
1. Data controller
The data controller is D'ARCADIA PROPERTY MANAGEMENT (VAT no. 14219581007), based in Rome. For any request concerning the processing of personal data, the controller can be contacted at info@darcadia.it or on +39 06 400 89 002.
2. Types of data collected
- Data provided voluntarily by the user. When you fill in the contact form, we collect your name, email address and the content of the message you choose to send us.
- Browsing data. The IT systems that operate the website acquire, in the course of their normal functioning, certain data whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet protocols (e.g. IP addresses, browser type, date and time of the request). This data is used solely to ensure the correct functioning and security of the website.
3. Purposes and legal basis of processing
Data provided through the contact form is processed to respond to requests for information and consultation, on the basis of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject and/or of the data subject's consent (Art. 6 GDPR). Browsing data is processed for the controller's legitimate interest in ensuring the security and correct operation of the website.
4. Processing methods and retention
Processing is carried out using IT and/or electronic tools, with organizational and logical methods strictly related to the stated purposes and adopting appropriate security measures. Data is retained only for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected and, in any case, in compliance with legal obligations.
5. Disclosure of data and recipients
Data is neither disclosed nor transferred to third parties for marketing purposes. It may be disclosed to the competent authorities in the cases provided for by law. The only third parties processing data on behalf of the controller are the following:
- FormSubmit (Devro LABS, United States) — form-forwarding service. It receives the data entered in the contact form (name, email address, message text and originating IP address) for the sole purpose of delivering the message to info@darcadia.it. It is involved only when the form is submitted, never during ordinary browsing. FormSubmit privacy policy
- Firebase Hosting (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC) — provider of the infrastructure that serves the website. It processes technical browsing data, including the IP address, in service logs, for security and delivery purposes. Firebase privacy policy
- Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.) — web statistical analysis service. Subject to user consent, it collects anonymized statistical data on site usage. IP addresses are masked. Google privacy policy
6. Transfer of data abroad
The website is hosted through the Firebase Hosting service provided by Google: some technical data may be processed on servers located outside the European Economic Area.
In addition, the data entered in the contact form is transmitted to FormSubmit, a service based in the United States: submitting the form therefore involves a transfer of personal data to a third country. The transfer takes place on the basis of the explicit consent given by the data subject at the time of submission (Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR) and is limited to what is necessary to deliver the message. Users who prefer not to rely on this service may contact us directly at info@darcadia.it or on +39 06 400 89 002, without using the form.
7. Cookies and local storage
This website uses technical cookies required for functionality and, subject to your consent, third-party analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to perform anonymous statistical measurements. The preference expressed through the consent banner is saved in the browser's local storage for 6 months. For details, see the Cookie Policy, where you can also change your preferences at any time.
Apartment bookings take place on external portals (e.g. Airbnb, Booking.com): by clicking the relevant links, the user is redirected to third-party sites that have their own privacy and cookie notices, for which the controller is not responsible.
8. Rights of the data subject
The data subject may at any time exercise the rights provided for by Articles 15-22 of the GDPR, including: access to their data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing and data portability. They also have the right to withdraw any consent given and to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it). Requests can be sent to info@darcadia.it.
9. Changes to this notice
The controller reserves the right to modify or update this notice, including as a result of regulatory changes. Any changes will be published on this page.
